Hangover!

Yesterday I decided to mourn the demise of MJ by calling in sick, so I didn't work. Being a friday, any random plot was welcome. After lazying around in my apartment, I decided to check out the local bars in the afternoon. I needed some company and my pal, whom I have hots for, came into my mind. A phone call and an hour later he was there. In the evening we hit the club scene and went home drunk after a couple of hours. Whatever happened later in the night at my apartment none of us remembers...or rather chooses not to remember. Nonetheless, it was awesome. But the hangover I'm having right now reminds me of the number of vodka shots I did!

I hear there's a party going down tonight. Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't do gay parties. They're for the desparate old men hunting young boys and for the young boys who need the old men's cash!!!

R.I.P Michael Jackson!

The death of MJ yesterday afternoon (American time) in LA has shocked the entire world. MJ was a popstar who sang for everyone, the old, young, sick, happy, devastated...the list is endless. His music was appreciated by everyone. I have never met anyone who disliked MJ's music, NEVER EVER!!!

His character came into the lamelight when he was accused of child molestation but he was acquitted. He didn't give up despite the negative publicity and the financial woes that beriddled him. He kept going and was actually rehearsing, in LA, for his planned shows that had been postponed to 2010.

He will not be physically present but his music will live on in the hearts of many. 'Heal the world', 'You rock my world', 'Billie Jean', 'Off the wall', 'Black or white' and many other songs will forever remain edged in our souls and continue to touch generations to come. He was more than a popstar, legend, icon and superstar. Michael Jackson has not died in us. R.I.P MJ!

Fresh blood

The other day I was at the bar, the famous one where every Tom, Dick and Harry in the gay scene likes frequenting. Not to sound like a snob but I hate that joint. I don't know what has got into me that I'm finding myself there these days, after avoiding it for more than a year. Anyway, that's besides the point. While there I noticed a bunch of very young gay guys, almost 20 in number. Very young guys, the oldest was probably 19. That got me thinking...what are kids being taught in school? I bet there's a BE GAY 101 class in high school where these toddlers are told being straight is a sin! But hey, it's good seeing some new blood out there!

For the record, I'm not that old, still in my 20s! Or my mother lied about my age!!!

SIZE MATTERS!

Does size really matter?

Big, long, thick, small or short….name them. These are various sizes, not of hands or legs but of that thing that men carry between their two legs which gay men so love. I have never known why this debate about size has never been concluded. I have heard it enough times even among heterosexuals. But I try and understand that human nature is obsessed with size. Everyone wants a bigger version of everything. Big cars, big hand held smart phones, big houses, big yachts, big wall paintings and every other big thing!

I always wonder why many gay men prefer men who are well hung. I am made to understand by my bottom friends that big is better and big is fun. Ok, I agree that is fun and feels better, but I’m almost certain that it is not that automatic! With size come more burdens and more pain! But again I’m told that the pain comes in the initial stages but once it’s over, everything is sweet!

Let me share with you my thoughts on this. I am of the opinion that size doesn’t matter. It’s how it’s done that matters. One huge can fellow can go down that road and it would not be as fun if he doesn’t know what he’s doing! Yet on tiny fellow can do it with gusto and give you well over 100% satisfaction. I believe a person who takes their time and is confident in what is doing can give you one good fuck! Even straight men aren’t excluded. How many women have you heard whining about their men not be able to perform well despite the size? There are enough! Even gay men are complaining.

So you men, put your act together, forget about the size and enjoy it. And those who can’t perform can learn. Learn what to takes to satisfy your man!

Queer is the new Straight!!!

"Being straight is so cliche!" said my friend as we sat at the bar on Friday evening.
"Really?" I asked him.
"Yeah. Everyone is so gay these days that I pity our women. Who's gonna marry them and give them babies?"
This is interesting" I said.
"You know" he explained "God never created straight men. All those who purport to be straight are not. They are either gay, bi or curious!"
We were at a very well known bar in Nairobi that is well known to be gay friendly. What emerged from that discussion was that the number of queer or gay men was increasing at an alarming rate, scary to some of us who have been in this game for quite a while....lol!


It is interesting how many men out there are willing to try out new stuff, in the name of getting intimately involved with another man. I remember when I first vetured into the scene, being queer or gay was so unacceptable in the society espcially in Kenya. However, of late many more people are coming out even to their parents and immediate familiies and the response has been varried.



I am delighted with the new developments in the scene because I have heard of more and more straight men who are willing to 'try out' new things. One is therefore left to wonder whether there exists a purely straight man. That is a question i wouldn't want to answer.



All I know about these men is that they are sexy, cute, hung...yeah I had to say it. If you are out to have some fun, then go ahead and grab one for yourself. But if you are in search of love or emotinal satisfaction, then run away from them coz they shall let you down.

Hey guys. I'm back after a long hiatus, and a very long one for that matter. But a lot of water has since passed under the bridge. A lot, I must say, has happened since September when I first published this blog.

I will begin with the gay scene in Nairobi. One of those days I was away, I recieved an invitation to attend a meeting at a gay resource centre in Nairobi. Its actually the first gay resource centre to established in Kenya. This is a significant step in the long journey towards recognition in society for gay people. I will talk about the gay resource centre and the groups behind later.

The agenda for this meeting was amongst other things the security of gay people in the country and especially in Nairobi. I didn't have the priviledge of attending the meeting but I was lucky to be briefed on the proceedings of that meeting. It has emerged that Nairobi is fast becoming a Gay Basher city! I have heard before of incidents of people being harassed by the general public but this has reached extreme levels. Gay bashing has become a common feature in Nairobi. Several people have become victims of these blooding-baying gay bashers. Making matters worse is the fact that the security agents are not being of help. They are in fact the biggest enemies of gay people in Nairobi. Some people are colluding with the Police to extort money from gay people. Gay people have become an easy source for a quick buck because they are willing to pay up after being threatened with exposure or being 'outed'.

I would like to urge all the gay people to be very watchful of every step they make in this city because you never know who is watching or following you. And if you happen to be a victim of such extortion, please don't succumb or give into giving out money because it will never stop. Stand firm and probably get in touch with a lawyer who can help you. The resource centre, I believe, is working on a programme to have a lawyer to address such kind of problems.

And to you gay bashers, we are coming after you, coz you've got no respect!!!
